BLUE CLASSES: (CARDIO)

BOXING

Strength and cardio in one effective package, this workout is the perfect fit for anyone looking to jumpstart their body or add intensity to an existing routine. Classes include a combination of bag work, kickboxing and speed drills, all designed to develop core strength and get the heart rate high.

CONDITIONING

Unleash your inner athlete with this high-intensity option designed to increase your heart rate and stamina simultaneously. Class includes a combination of plyometrics, athletic movements and change of direction drills. Designed with minimal recovery, this class will get you sweating in no time!

PURE SWEAT

A fast-paced option designed to improve cardiovascular endurance. Clients can expect circuits and interval work incorporating running, jumping, compound movements and core exercises. Breaks are minimal and sweating is guaranteed.

SPRINT

Get more bang for your buck in this fast-paced class designed to increase your cardiovascular stamina. You can expect body weight movements, footwork and agility skills. With high bursts of intensity and minimal recovery, this is the perfect class for anyone pressed for time to get an effective workout.

TABATA

A popular form of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), tabata workouts feature short bursts of fast, high-energy movements followed by a minimal recovery period.  Incredibly effective for improving your performance with endurance events, developing strength and burning major calories.   

TRAINER’S CHOICE

What's on the docket is anyone's guess in this blue OR green workout format that is left up to the discretion of the day's selected coach. So show up, expect the unexpected and be prepared to challenge both body and mind. Consider it the wildcard workout you never you knew you needed!


GREEN CLASSES: (STRENGTH)

BADASS AND BEAUTIFUL® (On Demand)

Join Suzanne Vita Palazzo, Founder and CEO of Upper Deck Fitness, for Badass and Beautiful: The Workout, a unique class that combines the mindfulness of yoga with the intensity of strength training. Participants will be guided through a sequence designed to empower both the body and mind, so they are left understanding how to apply their physical strength to the outside world. Suitable for all ability levels.

HARDCORE

Tax your core in this strength-based class that will train you to unleash power from your midsection. Participants will be challenged with movements that incorporate the abdominals, hips, glutes, and lower back to result is a rock-solid core.

PURE POWER

A strength-based option designed to improve muscular endurance.  Clients will be progressed through a variety of exercises using their own body weight, free weights, medicine balls, bars, ropes and kettlebells.  Critical for weight loss, those looking to lose body fat or anyone looking for more energy in their day to day.


PURPLE CLASSES: (RECOVERY)

ACTIVE RELEASE

Run by one of our licensed massage therapists, this class focuses on myofascial release techniques to teach you how to diminish tension in your body. Learn strategies for self massage that you can incorporate post workout, or whenever stressors of the day to day become too intense.

CORE

Core improves flexibility, builds strength and develops the core.  A series of floor exercises will teach you how to properly support your body through your “center.”  Excellent work for establishing a mind/body connection.

ENLIGHTEN UP

This hour-long yoga practice offers an eclectic blend of meditative centering, gentle stretching, therapeutic flow, and restorative techniques. It’s the perfect mid-morning pause to help promote clarity, reduce lactic acid, increase flexibility and help individuals connect with their inner spirit.

GO WITH THE FLOW (On Demand)

A stretch class designed to release both body and mind, this floor-based format is suitable for all levels. Participants will work through a sequence of low-impact movements designed to open and energize, properly allowing them to recover from the stress of taxing workouts or the intensity of day-to-day life. 

POWER PILATES

Known for its effectiveness in developing rock solid dancers, gymnasts, and athletes of all disciplines, pilates is a pre-requisite for anyone looking to strengthen their core. This “power” version of the class features a strategic form of sequencing at a quicker pace, resulting in a challenging workout that will provide noticeable support in all your other Upper Deck classes.

PRIMAL STRETCH

Explore how your body was designed to move with this unique class that focuses on building strength through proper mechanics. Participants will learn how to support their own body weight through natural, primitive movements such as crawling and jumping. Ideal for improving body awareness and mobility.

WIND DOWN (On Demand):

Feeling on edge? Having a hard time turning off? Then tune in to this exhale of a practice led by Rita Trieger as a way of bringing you back to earth. Ideal as a prep for a good night's sleep, this class features a meditative mix of spoken word and restorative poses to transition your body out of fight or flight. Feel free to lean on it anytime you need a dose of calm.

WEEKLY RX:

Experience the power of The U in this unique class format that features all 3 colors -- strength, cardio and recovery -- in one convenient hour. Participants will feel how the different modalities complement one another and actually improve their performance, helping them mentally and physically connect the dots of our Prescribed Fitness system. Perfect for all ability levels and is specifically ideal for anyone adhering to our Age Smarter protocol.

AGE SMARTER CLASSES:

Despite the name, there are no age requirements for these workouts, which are designed to offer the same quality and challenge of our typical blue and green classes but with minimal impact. All Age Smarter classes feature a thorough warmup and steady progression of movements to ensure the body is properly prepared for the task at hand and is never left feeling broken. Ideal for beginners, or anyone who deals with knee, hip, back or shoulder issues.
