Jess Benedetto

Jess Benedetto
A wellness motivator on a mission for helping others, Jessica’s approach to health is heavily rooted on the foundation of redefining what it means to feel your best.
With a B.S. in Exercise Science and Health and Human Performance from Roanoke College, Jessica aims to help her clients understand how their bodies were destined to move by focusing on functional fitness. She achieves this armed with over a decade of experience in producing results, and her knowledge obtained through certifications acquired from respected institutions such as NASM, AFFA, TRX and PaddleFit.
In addition to her talents as a coach, Jessica served as the Health and Fitness director for the Darien Y, where she was directly responsible for an extensive array of fitness programming, staff development and all elements of the member experience. It was during this time that she became certified as a Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in order to be able to address her population’s wellness on a wholistic level.
A mother of two, Jessica’s pregnancy and postpartum recovery following her first child inspired her to broaden her impact. This led her to become a Corrective Exercise Specialist for pre/postnatal women. She is looking forward to enhancing The U’s current range of offerings with this expertise, while expanding the brand’s overall impact by serving as its Director of Operations.

Liz believes in simplifying smart eating habits, using food as fuel, and making happiness a priority to live well. Health is not just about calories or how hard you push. It is much more than just weight. Health is being around to live the life of your dreams, and having the energy you need and want to TRULY live it!
Liz earned her bachelor’s in Marketing with a concentration in Communications from Fairfield University and became a Board Certified Holistic Health Coach in 2012 to help others fall in love with taking care of themselves.
