In a word, no. The program has been designed so that you can pick and choose the components that work for you. So, if you feel that competitions hold you accountable, then you can choose to go after one or more of the 3 prize categories. On the flipside, if you find that contests can feel like unnecessary pressure, then we suggest absorbing and incorporating the program’s content and recommendations minus the need to focus on “winning.”

Absolutely. Whether you choose to make this a competition or not, the weigh-ins (which also include a blood pressure reading) are totally optional. To that end, having those numbers taken also does not mean you are entering the running for the Biggest Loser prize. You can simply look at the measurements as a piece of important data.

This will be specifically addressed in the “Set Your Reset Up for Success” kick-off workshop, but know that body fat percentage is a much more accurate gauge of your overall health as opposed to what the scale says.
