A: While still conducted virtually, there will not be a virtual coach for these sessions; you will be working directly with either Suzanne or Carl. Then, from a structural perspective, these workouts will include both individual skill work (designed to teach and improve form), as well as group activity. The sessions will be progressive – building throughout the two months – and will include specific adaptations tailored to YOUR goals. It’s essentially private training in a group setting.

A: Simply put, these days/times have been chosen to get you to prioritize yourself. So if you need to rearrange parts of your schedule in order to make the session(s) happen, we encourage you to do so and remember that it’s a temporary commitment (and one you’ll likely be very glad you made). This is also why you can opt for Boardroom Access and incorporate either the Tuesday or Saturday workout only.

A: We’re going to assist you with this. The two Ownership workouts will be strength-based, so we’ll be helping you plan the remainder of your prescription around them. We will also consult with the other coaches as needed so they can plan for you accordingly. As with everything at The U, it will be a team effort!

While there are various ways we'll be taking a "mind leads, body follows" approach, your main mindset work will include strategic "prep" and "recap" forms that you will be submitting each week. These quick, practical journal prompts will help you become your own best coach in terms of identifying the areas of your life where you need to add, edit or delete.

A: The short answer is NO. Coach Carl has taken the time to ensure this AT-HOME assessment not only identifies your training needs throughout the program but will shed light on additional areas of improvement that you might not have realized could be a limiting factor in your long term wellness. Just another important ownership tool that you can recycle many more times outside of this program to ensure you are moving safely and successfully.

A: Considering that we don’t have a membership, this is a NO! You are welcome (and encouraged) to use Ownership to supplement any existing workout program or to use it as a base if you’re just getting started.

A: Quite the contrary. Ownership has been specifically planned to hold you accountable during the months when you might find yourself on the road more often than usual. As a result, this will teach you the power of staying consistent in your routine and progression – using whatever equipment (even if it’s none) that you may have on hand.

A: We’ve got you covered! Part of the intake process will involve assessing the equipment available to you to determine if we think you need to invest in anything other. Doing so is not required, but if we think you can benefit from doing so, you can bet we’ll say so.
